New York Wedding Videography
New York weddings can be some of the most hectic, fast-moving weddings you can be a part of. Striking a balance and composure while dealing with traffic, late guests, and family emergencies can be a complete juggling act. Having the right vendors can be the difference between your big day going smoothly or turning into a shit show. Your wedding only happens (hopefully) once, and without a team of vendors in your corner who know the ropes, that fast-paced, Gotham wedding can quickly go south to Staten Island. Luckily for you, our team here at Dovetale Digital can help steer you in the right direction.
Peter and Sam’s Wedding at The Box House Hotel in Greenpoint, Brooklyn
What makes New York wedding videography unique
Unique New York. Say it 5 times, fast! New York, in and of itself, may be one of the most unique places on Earth. The city’s vibrant atmosphere provides an incredible backdrop for videography. From shooting on rooftops with the most famous skyline in the world, to hitting the cobbled Lower Manhattan streets, you’re guaranteed to have a wedding that looks completely different from all the others. Peter and Sam had their wedding at The Box House Hotel in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Logistically, we could not have asked for anything better. Both the bridal and groom suites were on the same floor, and the ceremony and reception were an elevator ride away!
The 8-minute ceremony, a record for us, was captured, and the room immediately flipped into the reception. In about 20 minutes, we went from a sit-down ceremony for about 150 people to a 5-piece live band, dozens of tables, and an open dance floor. The hotel truly worked its magic in those moments, but the real magic would arrive when they opened up the roof to let the sweet summer breeze in. Peter and Sam, avid Pokémon fans, would then go on to dance and rip packs the night away! Of course, we were up in the action as close as we could get!
Nothing matches the unfettered joy of ripping a 1st Edition Fossil pack on your wedding night!
